Performance character qualities
The new Alfa Tonale that will soon appear in South Miami FL should have a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine under the hood generating 256 horsepower. It will be mated with a 9-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. Reports we've heard indicate that both the American and Euro versions will eventually get a plug-in hybrid combining a 180-horsepower turbocharged engine with an electric motor.
Tantalizing exterior design
The brand new Alpha tonale will be graced with a special elegance that imbues it with graceful contours. The overall effect will be more reminiscent of a hot hatchback than a boxy SUV. Reports are that the new Tonale will have triple-element headlights, wrap-around rear glass and Alfa Romeo’s attention getting phone-dial wheels for rolling on American roadways in the Florida Keys.

The cabin of the new Tonale will employ soft materials in high-touch areas and the design displays an emphasis on human ergonomics.
